Fed up with the blast of Train Horns in the middle of the night?  Do you want to know more about the Quiet Zone Project in San Diego?  Then you have come to the right place. This website was created by Downtown  residents independent of FRA, BNSF, CCDC, or any other government entities to provide Downtown residents with comprehensive information, web links & contacts to achieve a better quality of life in our terrific city.
 
Freight Trains, on occasion, have been blocking Downtown San Diego intersections for as much as an hour at a time making it difficult for Fire Engines & Paramedics to reach victims on the western or southern side of the railway corridor..
